Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and online sales systems
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Build responsive landing pages optimised for conversion and performance
Implement e-commerce functionality including shopping carts and payment integration
Develop and integrate APIs for third-party services and data exchange
Configure and customise content management systems (Wix, Shopify)
Implement tracking pixels, analytics, and conversion monitoring
Optimise website performance, load times, and SEO technical factors
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing and debugging
Deploy and maintain web applications across hosting environments
Day-to-Day Tasks
Typical Activities
Build landing pages in Wix, Shopify, or NextJS based on specifications
Implement Stripe and payment gateway integrations
Configure Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking
Set up email automation and form integrations
Create and test checkout flows for products and digital downloads
Develop member portal and gated content functionality
Write and maintain CSS/JavaScript for custom functionality
Perform site speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals improvements
Set up domain configuration, SSL, and hosting infrastructure
Document technical implementations and create handover materials

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with at least one of: Wix, Shopify, or NextJS/React
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Experience with payment gateway integration
Knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques
Understanding of SEO technical requirements
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
